Trouble, trouble, trouble. After teasing Taylor Swift and her “thigh gap” on the night of the 2016 Grammy Awards with an Instagram post, comedian Amy Schumer posted a hilarious response to apologize to anyone who took offense to her joke on Wednesday, February 17.
Swift hit the red carpet at the Staples Center in L.A. on Monday, February 15, in a leg-baring two-piece by Atelier Versace that included a huge front slit on her skirt. In response to her glam look, Schumer, 34, posted a bikini photo of herself on the beach with fellow comedian Bridget Everett, and included a cheeky caption.
“Taylor that’s not a thigh gap,” Schumer joked. “This is a thigh gap.”

The superstar’s fans were none too pleased with the actress’ wisecrack and accused her of skinny shaming. This prompted the Trainwreck star, 34, to post a semi-apology.
Schumer hilariously uploaded a pic to Instagram on Wednesday of herself with fake facial hair. “That’s not a beard this is a beard,” she wrote on Instagram. “So sorry to anyone with a beard this may offend. I am a comic and should never make fun of myself at the expense of anyone else that I wasn’t making fun of in the first place. #relax #beard.”
But Swift had bigger things on her mind on Grammys night than Schumer’s jokes. The “Out of the Woods” singer won her second-ever Album of the Year Grammy and targeted Kanye West in her speech during the live broadcast.
“I want to say to all the young women out there — there are going to be people along the way who are going to try to undercut your success or take credit for your accomplishments or your fame,” she sniped in response to West’s recent comments about making her famous. “But if you just focus on the work and you don’t let those people sidetrack you, someday when you get where you’re going, you’ll look around and you will know that it was you and the people who love you who put you there. And that will be greatest feeling in the world.”
West responded to Swift at LAX on Wednesday, February 17, by saying he had only “positive” vibes.
