'So disappointing' fume Finders Keepers viewers as they slam 'vulgar language' and dodgy music in Ch

CHANNEL 5 fans have slammed the final two episodes of Finders Keepers and said it was ruined by the ‘music’ and constant swearing.

Since the latest drama starring Inbetweeners star James Buckley and Line of Duty’s Neil Morrissey arrived on January 10, it has left viewers divided.

The four-part drama, created by Dan Sefton, who wrote The Good Karma Hospital and Trust Me, follows the main characters, metal detectorist Martin, played by Neil and his future son-in-law Ashley, played by James Buckley.

The synopsis for episode three reads: “There's relief as Laura is released, but who was behind her abduction? Salvation seems to arrive for the desperate Martin in the guise of suave antique collector Denys Elland.”

The plot for episode four of Finders Keepers states: “Shaken by his confrontation with Denys, Martin finally confesses all to Anne. Desperate to keep alive her dream of bringing Josh home, she hatches a bold plan to save her family.”

After the latest two instalments aired, Channel 5 fans took to X(Twitter) and expressed how the series made them feel so far.

Another viewer was unsure how to feel about the four-part series and wrote: “Can’t tell if it’s mildly good or absolutely bad #finderskeepers.”

A third person replied to the tweet and said: “The storyline and performances are decent it's the odd music choices that make it quite jarring for me.”

A fourth chimed into the conversation and typed: “#Finderskeepers Think @channel5_tv should stick to what they do best... making documentaries.

“These 4 part dramas are hyped up so much but are so disappointing.

"Shame they reel us in with celebs, but often resort to graphic violence or vulgar language to fill the plot holes”.

While another followed it with: “The music is making this waaay worse than it should be. #Finderskeepers.”

But other people who watched the series expressed how much they enjoyed the series on the social media platform, with one saying: “@channel5_tv #finderskeepers tv guy says if you can't wait to watch all episodes now.

“The catch up text says all episodes here! So where is it? I need to watch the last episode! It's so good!!”

A second person praised: “#finderskeepers was absolutely brilliant @RakheeThakrar, @ShaneAttwooll, @jessicarhodeo, @Neil_Morrissey.”

Fans of the show were also left unimpressed after the first episode aired, which saw Martin and Ashley stumbling across Saxon coins and jewellery worth half a million pounds, but they were soon faced with more problems when they decided to sell, in hopes of fixing their money problems.

All episodes of Finders Keepers are available to watch on My5.
