This week's Tavern Brawl is "Your Standard Brawliseum", allowing you to pick a deck of your choice. It's just a normal Standard game of Hearthstone , using the cards from the newly-released Rastakhan's Rumble . Your first try will be free, but each consecutive try after that will cost 1,000 gold (or $10.) It plays a lot like Arena: once you get three losses, you are out. If you manage to secure yourself 10 wins, you'll get a massive amount of gold, packs and even a Legendary minion. Brawliseum rewards are similar to those of the Heroic Tavern Brawl, which you can see the chart here.

If you aren't a very good Hearthstone player or just don't understand how the game works, you should hold off playing this Brawl for a few days. Players will use their strongest decks and bonkers strategies to try and get 12 wins. Bringing in a cute Silverback Patriarch to the party is a quick way to go home 0-3. The Brawl won't close for at least another four days, giving you time to try and earn some packs and maybe some powerful cards. You can always just throw your run away for 50 gold, but what fun is that?
The meta for the expansion is still fresh and evolving, with new decks cropping up every few minutes. There really isn't a top-tier broken deck dominating the meta right now, but there are a few decks that are popping out of the blue. Odd and Even decks using Baku the Mooneater and Genn Greymane are all the rage. There's Odd Mage and Druid alongside Even Paladin and Warlock, and they are all valid choices. Here are a few of the strongest decks currently working their way around the meta.
Odd Mage - My personal favorite deck of the expansion uses Ragnaros the Firelord and strong wave clear to win games. If you are looking for a deck that can hold its own against aggro and control, this is perfect for you.
Odd Druid - Druid might not have received the most powerful cards in this expansion, but that doesn't mean Malfurion is down and out. This deck uses Gonk to attack as many enemies as possible with your Hero, leaving your minions free to deal damage. There are also Master Oakheart versions of the deck flying around, which can very quickly deal a ton of damage. That deck list does rely heavily on drawing the right cards, so it all depends on how lucky you are feeling.
Even Paladin - Another archetype from older sets, Even Paladin still remains strong. Val'anyr continues to be one of the strongest weapons in the game, allowing players to build up value near infinitely. Combine that with the healing of Crystal Smith Kangor and a multitude of Divine Shields and you are in the clear.
Beast Hunter - Like a deck that's kind of cheap and uses a lot of Beasts? This Rexxar build is for you. Deathstalker Rexxar has become one of the strongest hero cards in the game, gaining a massive amount of cheap Lifesteal minions to stall games out with.
